I'm finally doing it. I'm finally here, writing my first ever blog. (Terrifying, right?) I have been told that when it comes to blogging, you can't wait for everything to be perfect, you just have to start. So this is me, starting.
I am a Registered Dietitian who wants to help as many people as I can to be their best possible selves, regardless of their location. I love to eat, I love to travel, and I love to try new foods everywhere I go. I don't believe in "cheat meals," I believe in enjoying healthy food most of the time, and enjoying unhealthy foods with equal pleasure, just more sparingly. I will never judge what anyone else is eating- in fact, any dietitian will tell you that we get judged on what we eat far more often!
I believe food is medicine that can be used to heal the body, and I believe there is no way to have a truly healthy body without a healthy mind. While success often requires us to get out of our comfort zones and do the hard work, the joy of feeling good in our bodies and having a healthy relationship with food (and ourselves) is a reward worth doing it for. I hope that my story and my journey can inspire some people to get started on their way to a healthier life today. It isn't always easy, but I am here to provide information and support to help you through. Let's do this!
